What We Believe
Statement of Faith:
- We believe in the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in THREE persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible. Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13-14.
- We believe that all scriptures (the old and new testament) is inspired by the Holy Spirit, unadulterated, as it was originally given. II Timothy 3:16; I Corinthians 2:13.
- We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of man, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, both God and man. Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:16.
- We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and is currently seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for man. I Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 4:25; Romans 8:34.
- We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation and personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for the Church. John 14:2-3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18.
- We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12; Romans 5:11.
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to salvation, with the Scriptural evidence; namely, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-46; Galatians 3:14-15.
- We believe that prayer is the foundation of a successful Christian faith walk. James 5:13-18
- We believe faith without corresponding action is not faith. James 2:14-26
- We believe that it is God’s will for each of His children to experience a rich and full life, experience all that is good, having a heaven on earth experience while on earth. John 10:10; Revelation 21:1; Joshua 1:1-8; Genesis 12:2-3
- We believe that radical praise and worship, where one is truly giving their all to God in thanksgiving, is critical to a successful relationship with God. 2 Samuel 6:14; Psalm 22:3; Ephesians 3:20; Psalm 150
- We believe that tithe (a 10th of your gross) and offering is a spiritual act of worship and obedience to the will of God. All of the earth, and the fullness there in, belongs to the Lord, yet He only asks for a 10th not because He needs it but so that we can actively express our faith and trust in Him. Malachi 3:10.Psalm 24:1
